Moving to the U.S.
My name is Jessica Buchsbaum. I was born in Canada. I came to the United States in 1983 with my mother, my step-father and my sister. We decided to come to San Francisco because my grandmother lived here. I love San Francisco a lot!

Job History
After we moved to San Francisco, I went to school. When I finished school, I worked as an office assistant. I answered the phone, typed letters, and used the computer. I learned a lot of computer skills in that job.

My next job was as a teacher. I worked with children. I prepared and taught lessons and played games. I enjoyed my job a lot! I was patient and creative in my job as a teacher.

Now I work as an ESL teacher at City College of San Francisco. I love working with my students. I teach the CALL class at Downtown Campus. We learn a lot every day.

Job Goal
My job goal is to improve my technology skills and help my students learn more about computers. My students help me achieve my goal every day.
